Reducing Evictions and Abandonments toolkit

This guide has been developed to enable managers of supported accommodation projects to reduce evictions and abandonment by learning from good practice across England.

The guide can be used to do any of the following:

  • Identify ideas for reducing your unplanned moves.
  • Introduce a more effective and supportive approach to problematic behaviour such as non-engagement, non-payment of rent, and aggression.
  • Review your current warnings policy and procedure.
  • Involve your whole staff team in finding creative solutions to keep people in.
