We are seeking an accomplished leader with a passion for social justice, who will work closely with the Board of Trustees and our team of staff and volunteers to develop and drive strategic change facilitating the charity’s growth and financial sustainability.
Cambridge Cyrenians is a well-established local charity which has been accommodating and supporting homeless men and women in the city for 50 years.
Purpose of post
To provide strategic vision and leadership to the operation and development of the organisation within the policy direction set by the Board of Trustees, ensuring that the charitable objectives of the organisation are achieved and that it delivers a high quality service to its users.
The role is pivotal in enabling Cambridge Cyrenians to develop its services over the coming years, maintaining exacting standards of service delivery and enhancing partnership working.
To be the external representative of the organisation, promoting Cambridge Cyrenians, which will include developing the network of local, regional and national contacts
Candidates must at least 3 years senior management experience, preferably within the homeless, criminal justice, mental health or social care sectors.
