London Frontline Outreach Workers' Community of Practice: Primary Healthcare on Outreach

Tuesday, 11 December 2018
London | Free event

We invite London outreach workers to join us for this Community of Practice event. Lunch is provided and there is no charge to attend.

There will be a presentation from Kendra Schneller, Nurse Practitioner in the Health Inclusion Team at Guys and St Thomas' hospital, who accompanies outreach workers in Southwark to provide primary healthcare to people who are rough sleeping.

We will also be joined by Cathrine Gillard of Crisis, who will be updating on this year's Crisis at Christmas procedures.

Finally, we will use part of the session to review what's gone well for the community over the past year, and what we would like to work on in 2019.

With a flurry of activity at government level to address rough sleeping, there's never been a time like the present to make the views of frontline workers known!

The London Outreach Community of Practice is aimed at current frontline outreach workers, however, we welcome anyone with experience of outreach work, or related sector experience.

A Community of Practice is a space to bring together people who have a shared experience, passion or concern for a particular issue.  We use the experience and practical knowledge of attendees to create change and meaningful impact by promoting good practice, innovation and knowledge sharing.

Lunch will be provided and the event is free to attend, but spaces are limited, so please book as soon as possible.
