Kent Community of Practice: First Meeting
What is the event about?
“Communities of practice are groups of people who share a concern or passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.” (Wenger-Trayner, 2015)
This group is for those working on the frontline of homelessness and related fields across Kent, to come together to discuss local issues and how best to collaboratively overcome them. The group will follow a solution focused practice style, so that problems will be discussed but not dwelt on; instead, we will look at building on existing resources and skills to work towards a shared, preferred future and expand knowledge where required. The group will decide on topics they would like to focus on, and the future of the group going forward.
Attendance is free, and refreshments will be provided. If you have any dietary requirements, please don't forget to let us know.
