Campaigns
Improving policy, attitudes and commissioning - keeping homelessness on everyone's agenda.
Our policy team carries out research, gathers data and evidence to use in our influencing work to improve policy for homeless people. Our Communications team is responsible for our campaigns, communications, membership, marketing and events and training. MEAM seeks to influence government policy on multiple needs and exclusions and support members across the four sectors to deliver services focused on people with multiple needs.
I am committed to ensuring that Homeless Link’s policy influencing work is informed and embedded in the lived experience of people who are homeless and in the experience of front-line homelessness services.
Jacqui joined Homeless Link in 2009 bringing with her over 25 years’ experience of research, policy, influencing and public affairs work mainly in the children’s voluntary sector, as well as experience of front-line service delivery in the homelessness and children’s sectors
Jacqui is passionate about social justice and equality and in achieving positive change for those who are the most excluded and marginalised in society.
Jacqui says: "I am committed to ensuring that Homeless Link’s policy influencing work is informed and embedded in the lived experience of people who are homeless and in the experience of front-line homelessness services."
...it would be for us all to work better together in collaboration and harness our collective voices and evidence to effectively make positive change for people who are homeless."
